Terms of Service

By creating an account, signing in, or using ChefsVox (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using ChefsVox on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use ChefsVox. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

You retain ownership of the recipes, add-ins, photos, publications, shopping lists, and any other content you create or upload ("Your Content"). You grant ChefsVox a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and process Your Content solely to operate the Service for you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload. You can export or delete Your Content at any time from your profile settings.

You agree not to use ChefsVox to upload content you do not have rights to, to infringe anyone's intellectual property, to transmit unlawful or harmful material, to attempt to access another user's data, or to interfere with the Service's operation. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

ChefsVox offers paid subscription plans (Home Chef and Pro Chef). Subscription fees are billed in advance through our payment provider (Stripe). You can choose monthly or annual billing. Prices are shown at checkout and may change with notice; price changes do not apply to a current billing period you have already paid for.

New annual subscriptions may begin with a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, no payment is taken. If you do not cancel, your selected plan begins and your payment method is charged at the end of the trial.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of your current paid period. Because ChefsVox is a digital service with immediate access, paid subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except where required by law.

The ChefsVox name, logo, app design, and software are owned by ChefsVox and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use the ChefsVox brand or trademarks except as needed to use the Service.

ChefsVox is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that nutrition, cost, or timing estimates will be accurate. Cooking involves inherent risks; follow your own judgment and food safety guidance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChefsVox shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, recipes, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You can stop using ChefsVox and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we stop offering the Service. Sections on Your Content, intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes. Continued use of ChefsVox after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
