I built ChefsVox because I started developing recipes, not just storing them. The app I used couldn't do what I needed, so I looked around, but none of the others did either. I have a technical background and had just recently started creating apps, so I decided this was a worthy cause!

The idea came from a simple frustration. Whenever I wanted to write down a change to a recipe, I had to either stop everything in the kitchen, deglove, write it down, then re-glove and start again, or try to remember it after I was done and then write it down. I kept all my recipe changes and versions in a spreadsheet. Updating it with a tablet or phone was too annoying and slow, so I had to do it all from my computer. I was wasting precious time, wasting money on gloves, and missing updates I wanted to make. I needed a better way!

So I started building a recipe tool that listens and remembers. ChefsVox is voice-first because your hands are busy and your brain is moving fast. The best ideas come when you're in the thick of it, when you can't reach a keyboard. You talk, it captures. You cook, it remembers. Every experiment gets saved as its own version. You can always switch to the version you want to use.

My goal is to give every cook a single place to capture, refine, and share the recipes that matter to them, from weeknight home cooks to working chefs, in the language they actually cook in. No more wasting time. No more lost tweaks. Just your voice, every recipe, perfected. And with all the money you save on gloves, you can pay for this app and still save money! I'd love for you to try it and tell me what's missing. I want to keep making this better for everyone. Feedback submitted comes directly to me.
